Privacy Policy
This site has a narrow purpose. It puts 31 Jasper tours, from a $37 Skywalk ticket to a full-day Icefields Parkway run, side by side so the differences between them are visible at a glance. Reading any of it costs you nothing personal: there is no account to create, no newsletter to join, no checkout to pass through. What little data does move when you open a page is described below.
What This Site Records
Everything here is counted in the aggregate. When a page loads, the record shows which page it was, where the visit came from, and whether an outbound link was followed. That is the whole of it. Because there is no login and no payment on this site, a name, an email address or a card number never reaches us at all. Whether you were weighing a Maligne Lake cruise against a glacier hike, or checking the SkyTram listing, remains private to you. Details entered into a booking form go to the operator's own checkout and sit under their privacy terms, not ours.
Third-Party Scripts
Third-party code on this site is deliberately thin. One analytics service counts anonymous page views so it is clear which tour pages are actually read, and it performs no other function. Where a map or embedded element appears, it is served from another company's servers, which means that company receives your IP address and applies its own privacy policy the moment the element renders. Script blocking in your browser stops that if you would rather not share it. The tour comparisons, from-prices and descriptions all display without any third-party code running.
No booking is ever completed here. Choosing a tour takes you to the live listing, where the operator's checkout, cookies and terms apply. Those pages run under their own policies. How this site earns its keep is explained on the disclosure page.
What We Never Do
- Sell, rent out or pass on your details to any third party.
- Install advertising pixels or trackers that follow you across other websites.
- Request an email address. No newsletter exists here and no mailing list is kept.
- Take a payment or hold a seat on a bus. Every booking for the tours compared here, from the 1-hour 30-minute Maligne Lake cruise to the 10-hour Icefields Parkway day tour, happens on the live booking page under the operator's own terms.
- Every message leaves through your own email client. The contact page opens a draft you send yourself, which means it travels from your account to an inbox without passing through any form, tracker or inbox this site controls.
Hosting
The site is served through a hosting network that keeps routine server logs, IP addresses among them, to filter abuse and attacks. Those logs are never mined to profile a reader or to trace which mountain park tour pages someone lingered on.
Your Choices
Like to run an ad blocker or script blocker? The pages still work. A tour comparison here is built from text and links, so with everything disabled you can weigh a 3-hour guided glacier hike against a 6-hour Maligne Valley wildlife tour, read the published from-prices, compare ratings and durations, and follow a link to the live booking page whenever you are ready. That plainness is intentional.
